FIX: OPTIFINE NOT INSTALLING ON MINECRAFT 1.20 (COULD NOT DOWNLOAD JAVA)

In this article, I will show you how to fix Optifine not Installing on Minecraft 1.20 (Could not download java)

First think you can do is open Command Prompt to do that open search bar and search for CMD, right click on it and press Run as administrator

After that you have to navigate to the folder where the optifine .jar file is located > Press Shift+right-click on the optifine .jar file > select “Copy as path”

And back at CMD you have to type:

java -jar <right-click on the command prompt window to paste the .jar file which includes the path> and press Enter

For example:

java -jar "D:\opt\preview_OptiFine_1.18_HD_U_H3_pre6.jar"

If that didn’t work, you may reinstall Java, or use the JarFix tool 
Reboot your machine and check again.
